    2012 Freedom Launch

Does anyone know the size of the sod farm where Freedom Launch is held? What about tree lines around the field?

I've tried sending emails to the contact info and prefect emails, but got them bounced back undeliverable. :-(

    Thanks for any help.

    Size.

I launch there and I can tell you it is at least 6-8000 feet. I have launch to 8000 feet and stayed on e field with dual deployment. 4000 without.

Its big enough that we hosted LDRS twice. Yes, local business encroachment has prevented that from ever happening again....DAMMIT!!!

Great Memories of Orangeburg...chasing Tom Binfords "Motor Eater Deluxe" over neighboring fields....losing my level1 cert rocket with H123 motor...watching Greg Muri's first N flight..My Kosdon L fight..
When the wind is calm...they just drop down next to the pads. I watched a full scale tomahawk land on it's fins standing up!
