I feel ya,

When I get the full face shield out, the wife and kids know I am going to work with the dremel discs and those thing hurt like hell if you get hit by one. They stay upstairs when that bad boy is in use.

Advice to live by when working with any power tools. Being a machinist, I forget to throw that in because I pretty much live in safety glasses. Never take your tools for granted, and never think "that won't happen to me".
 
Let's not forget *some* Chinese steel is recycled Yugos...that were recycled Fiats..that were...well, you get the picture.
