    Alpha Max

For your viewing pleasure. I completed the paint job on my Estes Alpha III upscale today. The rocket is completely scratch built, except for the motor mount and parachute. All up weight is 32 ounces. I designed it to fly on g61's and g67's, but can fly on 38mm small H's also.

That's the way to begin with a first post!

May I copy it to the gallery?

Very nice. I love seeing upscaled classics in that size and power range! They are appreciably large with substantial scale factors, yet they are not stupendous and overwhelming.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. My Alpha Max has been flown a few times since that photo was taken, beautiful flights. My next upscale will be in the same size range, an upscale of my very first rocket, the Estes Challenger.
Never fly a small rocket on a big motor from the wrong launch pad in high wind.
