This is the proven design that I started. This rocket has had 4 flawless flights and 4 near-flawless recoveries (Dump the parachute, stick to the big flag "streamer". Worked just fine). The rocket works very well as a 2-stage.

Here is the .ork file, and a .png file of the sim flight. Real life flight was close enough.

Word for the wise: Get spotters with binoculars. This rocket is not overly large, and it flies very quick, fast, and it will hit apogee fairly close to what was simmed on OR. Flights #3 and #4 were with progressively heavier payloads (20 and 40 grams) and it handled them just fine.
