    Oct. 22 HP launch pics

    This is the first time I think I ever posted launch pics

    This was our fall "Prairie Thunder #20" High Power event.These are the only pics I have ,wish I had more.

    We had to cut things short due to winds ,but a grand time was had by all !

    My bro`s 4" PML Patriot on a CTIgreen J
    My friends 5.5" LOC Magnum w/DD on a 54 green K
    Same as above
    Magnum comming down ,perfect flight
    My Madcow FG Little John on an I Sparkey

    Few more next page

    That`s thing about those prairies ,plenty of nothing for miles around.

    We have a huge field to fly from ,miles actually ,and it`s only 30 minutes South of my city which is great.

    Was the I sparkey a CTI Skidmark? The sound of them is so crazy loud! I did a 38mm 2 grain out a M.I.S launch with JMRC. The sound echoed for a mile. Super cool. I want to do a 75mm!

    Jim,

    Yes ,it was a 38mm (used with a 54-38 mm Aeropack adapter) CTI 434 I 223 Skidmark .....and I agree ,they just seem to explode and thunder into the sky.

    I love those things.

    I would like to have slapped in a bigger impulse Skid ,but the winds were getting borderline ,so things were kept to a few 1000 feet.Think I have an I 297 & J 381 Skidmark in the motor box ,but they`ll have to wait until next year.

    And yes ,Skids in 54 & 75 are sweet !!
