Great to see that Erik's models will be available again.

One of my favorite flyers is this Delta II from Erik.

Yep, Erik's Delta II is one of my all-time favorites.

He designed a lot of variants. I built one of the Mars Exploration Rover launchers years ago (9 strap-on boosters). Erik only had one of the Delta IIs up yesterday.

I couldn't believe how well the pieces fit together on that model. I thought I was in over my head starting the payload shroud, but it was like Homer Simpson flying across Springfield Gorge on a skateboard -- "I'm gonna make it! I'm gonna make it!" (except my model ended well).

I flew mine as-is. Only once so far, on a B6-2, I think. It did waggle its tail a little.

Forgot to mention -- the version that Bob shows above should have less stability problems than the versions like the Mars rover with the wider payload shroud on the nose.

Very nice....
Do you use lexan fins or fly it as is?
I fly mine as it is. On windy days, it wobbles a little on the way up. Come to think of it, do we ever have launch days that are not windy?
