Love that old bird!!! Biggest rocket I ever launched as a youth. Landed in a tall oak tree some distance away which I attempted to scale by means of a vine growing up the side....YUP, poison ivy:(
A few cortisone shots and a LOT of calamine on that one...

I guess this can go here. The ReneGoon was built to be flown pretty much exclusively on small fields, unline the larger cousin.

Here's a 2.6 inch upscale renegade I put together from spare Executioner parts. renegade was one of those rockets that flew perfectly every time, over and over.

I always varied my paintjobs slightly from Estes, so my real renegade was flourescent orange rather than red. This one was no different.

The paint job looks like crap, because I used Krylon Crystal Clear. It's now banned from my shop.

BTW, I love that reregoon. Me wants.

Its been busy but I finally finished the Long John Silver. Fun easy build. 4 coats of Balsa sealer on the fins, one coat of gray primer and one coat of black primer followed by Krylon Silver. The decals that come with the kit are the same as shown on the box art drawing, but the picture of Estes completed kit has different decals
