    Got my flying fix in!

What a great sunny day! Even though its a touch breezy and I had been working all night it didn't stop me from going outside to the hayfield and launching a few up on some 1/2A3-4T's and streamer recovery.

What a nice way to unwind after getting home from work and the errands done!

I do envy you. The temp. and humidity were low today. Had plans to launch
a few, but just couldn't get away from chores. Rockets with mini engines
are my favorite. They are sleek and perform so well. Not much chance of
    losing them with streamers.

    Good for you !!

Glad to hear about a launch or two. Sitting on top of a new fleet but grounded-have 2 in the production hanger and should be ready for a launch when the ban breaks---You'll love the 2 new ones--Feel bad about the build up for T-WOLF and BOXSTER but that's the way it goes. The other 2--HOLY FUNNESS BATMAN--

Soccer season really puts a dent in launching here. Any open space has a field. Hopefully tomorrow The only other option is a golfcorse converted to a park. but there was a music festival there... Would have been fun to launch a rocket at Blondie...

Hopefully tomorrow. My son still has to launch the first rocket he built.

My last mini rocket was a estes purple plastic one....I had like 7 flights before it started to fall apart and I only had ONE engine left. So launch..Oooo that thing was fast than the streamer didn't deploy and LAWN DARTED INTO A TREE!... All the fins fell off and I never found one of them....That poor rocket was done for...

I do love minis though I only had 2.
I don't always fly rockets,... But when I do, I get them back. (The most interesting man in the world TV commercial voice)

    Fleet...35
    Estes...6
    scratch-build...29
    Lost...2
    Crashed...5
    Splash-Downs...1
    Most prized...Saturn V
    Total-launched...125(+- 10 or so)

    I know what you mean.
Even though I get out to a club launch every month, I still go to the soccer field and fly the small stuff. MicroMaxx up to a C.

I drew up plans for a downsize Centuri Astro 1 that's BT-5 based, perfect for the 1/2A3-4t engines. You can print of the PDF from:

Still waiting for the ban to lift around here.Best guess maybe mid Oct. We are starting to get a bit of rain now so we'll see. Could probably get a permit at the nearby park but space is restricted and I'd prefer a bit of room for her.Holding off on the Boxter too ,going to shoot both the same day. Have 2 new ones in the works, one on the deck now and one on the board. JUST READY TO FLY NOW
