    Regent

This is a design I build a few months ago and just got it painted. The nose cone, transition and fins are Candy Apple Red.
I bought the nose cone, transition and boat tail from Semroc a few years ago. I've had them stacked with the body tubes and in my rocket room waiting until I came up with a design I liked. It's a BT70 to BT60 with a 24mm motor mount.
I originally planned to fly it with E9s but it's just a little too heavy. Maybe with no wind and a long rod.
The F12-5, F21-6 (I have a few) and the new F32-6 (I picked one up at NARCON) are the motors that Rocksim likes the bests.
I decide which one I'll use at the CMASS launch next week.

    nice.
where did you get the decal from?, did you choose the decal colour to match the rocket, or paint the rocket to match the decal?

Another nice job, Tony. I like that Candy Apple Red paint.

I'll be looking for it at the launch this Saturday.

Thanks, yeah I like the fin shape too.
I've never been one to take pictures when I build.
But maybe I'll try to on one of my future builds. Just for you Layne.

Looks great Tony. I'm with you on the picture taking thing. I'd rather just build and take pics when it's finished. Sometimes I do take build pics if there is some special mod or something, but it's getting more rare these days.

    Thanks Craig.

I get so focused on building that I don't want to stop a take pictures.
BTW the Bulldog is finished just waiting in line to be painted.

Flew the Regent yesterday on a new Aerotech F32 that I picked up at NARCON.
Wow what a FAST lift off! It was really up there.
Long walk for recovery and it had now damage.
It was so fast I didn't get a lift off shot.

Flew the Regent again yesterday. This time on a D12-3, it's our smallest field.
Great boost. The 3 second delay was perfect.
I angled it into the wind a little but it went almost straight up. It landed right on top of a big pile of rocks at the far end on the field. You can see the rocks in the back round of the lift off shots.
It only had a few small dings on the NC, that's it!!
