Hi let's see that picture was taken with a Gopro on a tripod a few feet away. But I do take a lot of other pics at launches and I usually shoot with the Cannon 1DX markii with the 100-400 cannon 4.6 lens Markii. Here is the link for most of the pictures and videos I've taken most are taken with the cannon camera. I plan to go to Airfest this year and using the cannon 400mm 2.8 lens with a 2X adapter.
sorry for some duplicates in the google drive;)

Two of my favorites from a recent launch-First my J430 and then an awesome K590 by a fellow flyer. I upgraded to a Canon 7D and am very happy with the results!

Tower launched 24mm diameter rocket powered by a Aerotech D21. Altitude topped out at just over 2400 feet at 560mph. Even with a 6'x3" reflective streamer, lots of tracking powder and two spotters we spent the better part of an hour on the recovery.

I was pretty busy on Saturday so I didn't t take too many pictures. These two were the best of the day. John Max Venable's MadCow Mad Dog on a K550 to 5800 ft. at Tripoli Central California's October Skies launch.
