G10 75MM MINIMUM DIAMTER ROCKET

Custom built 75mm minimum diameter rocket that was built from Performance Rocketry CLOTH based fiberglass G10 tubing. Booster section was designed around a 6000 ns motor. It was designed to fit the AT 75/6400 hardware with ease and get bolted in from the top. The booster also holds the AMW 6000 hardware, also bolted in from the top. The fins are .125” G10-FR4 plate fins that were beveled, glued to the airframe with high temp resin, and then received a full 5.7 oz layer of carbon fin-to-fin reinforcement as well as a 6.0 oz fiberglass veil layer over the carbon fiber. There is a 9” long avionics bay coupler bolted in with PEM nuts. The rocket comes with the fiberglass avionics bay plates, though there is no avionics sled. In addition to the strong G10 tubing the drogue and main airframes were fiberglass double wall coupled throughout. The booster coupler was also double walled for strength. Nose cone is a custom made carbon fiber Von Karman nose cone. It has yet to receive a bulk plate. Rocket comes with the ¼” tubular Kevlar “Y” harness and quick links that are seen in the photo graph. The rocket does NOT come with any other parachutes, recovery cord, altimeters, etc…
