Chute locations?

More newbie questions. I'm installing chutes on a Hyperloc 1600 and a Madcow HoJo modified for DD. Both are the same configuration, drogue below the AV bay and the main chute above. Where's the best place to attach the chutes? A quick link right at the AV bay for the drogue and the same at the bolt on the nose cone? Or somewhere further down the shock cord? Thanks!
 
For the drogue and main chutes you should tie off chutes down on the shock cords. The problem I have seen many times is if you attach main chute to nose cone you run a high risk of the nose cone going through shroud lines at ejection and become tangled. Its hard to give you a point as where to tie them off with out knowing shock lenght.
