My goodies from Model Aerospace Company arrived early this afternoon. Because it had been delayed a few days, they included two extra packs of vehicles. Anyhew, I hurredly soldered microclips to the puck leads and headed into the park.

I was amazed at how high the Little Joe went! After the streamer didn't deploy the first time I filed everything smooth; two perfect ejections afterward, one landing 6 feet away.

I am hooked on MMX, and a Fliskit "Dead Ringer" is imminent. I did learn you need a good, hot 9 volt for the puck. Ha!

Very cool man. I have a Little Joe that I can't bring myself to remove from the package. I have dozens of other MMX rockets so I guess keeping that one in the pack is ok.

These little guys are a real hoot. Just wait til you send up a real high performance model, they can get up there.

It's pretty easy to skip the short lived 9volt batteries by simply adding a snap on external battery lead and switching to a small under 20 dollar rechargable 12volt 7amp/hr gel-cell. Quest sells the snap on battery drops for 3.00 bucks or it's easy to make your own with a 9v snap on clip, about 5feet of 18/2 lamp cord wire & a couple alligator battery clips.
Once you have this you'll be set of a full days micro flying without worry about battery juice
