    QuBits in the galley

I am launching tomorrow at a site that is very restricted in size for a few months. Having ZERO MMX rockets or experience, I printed out Art Applewhite's QuBit Dicey and also made a Psycho Qubit with photoshop out of the blank MMX Qubit... No idea how they'll fly but they were fun and quick MMX builds. The pics are in the Qubit gallery.

The MMX Qubits flew great!!! Really. Excellent fun! I flew 7 flights (2 were MMX) today and the total impulse was less than a full D. And I had a blast.

My first experience with MicroMaxx. I must say I am not impressed with the old igniters. However I was taught how to create effective nichrome ignitors and each of those worked great.

I'll never understand those that don't enjoy all parts of Rocketry... I am L2 certified and love HPR and electronics and all that jazz. But I also have a blast launching Qubits on 1/8A.

Anybody got some MMX motors or 1/4A3-3T's they want to sell cheap? Let me know!

I used to tell Mom, "...I want to fly rockets when I grow up!"

She said, "Make up your mind, you can't do both!"

Just so you know, they don't go much higher on "full" 13mm A motors, which are usually a lot easier to find.

We used Qubits (with A10 T motors) a couple years ago as an extra level in a build class, and the kids liked them just as much as anything we launched with a chute or streamer. These things are fun!
In dog beers, I've only had one....

    Thought we did this already?
Here are my Micro Qubits, Fuzzy Dice, Scimitar & Stealth,

If you think the Qubits are a blast, try one of Arts Micro Mono-Copters they are a SCREAM! All cardstock or heavy paper.
    Outstanding fun!
