PARK RIDGE, Illinois USA — From participating in national rocketry competitions to working directly with NASA personnel, members of the Park Ridge-based St. Andrew's Rocket Team have seen their share of unique achievements over the least four years. On March 21, team leader Len Johnson, current team members Michael Cinquino, Kenneth Johnson and Alex Klarfeld, and former team member A.J. Witzke were honored for their work by the Planetary Studies Foundation, an Illinois-based organization that promotes the study of astronomy and planetary science. Apollo 16 astronaut Charlie Duke presented the rocket team with the Charlie Duke Team Spirit Award for their participation in the Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC) and NASA's Student Leadership Initiative.
