    NARAM 31 results ?

This was the only NARAM I attended.
Does anyone have a list of event results (ideallly) or just event winners ?
I barely competed but I'd like to be reminded how other folks did.

This was the year of the infamous Doug Frost RocketGolf speech.

    Yes the famous 1889 NARAM.

It was held in a time before Contest Manager so I do not think there is an electron version of the results. I even forget how the results were distributed back then.

It was my second NARAM. I remember getting to meet Bob Cannon and Michael Banks for the first time.

Here is the main infomation about that NARAM.

    NARAM-31 1989, Manassas, VA
    Trip Barber, CD
    A Div: Marshall Gottung
    B Div: Matthew Sias
    C Div: Ken Weaver
    Team: Spaceman Spiff
    Section: ASTRE, Albany, NY
    Newsletter: ASTRE (NY), Star Date
    Galloway Award: Dick Nelson

Don't know if this helps. You could check www.nar.org to see if NARTS or Sports Rocketry have any of the American Spacemodeling Nov.89 backissues.
I missed this national as I became a single dad that year.

Wow, 1889. Didn't know they had rockets!
It is amazing what you can do when you don't have a choice.

The patch that were made for that years NARAM had 1889 on them. I don't remember if it was the printer who made the mistake or they were given the wrong date. They did have the patches reprint with the 1989 date on it.
