Hey, I never got out of the saddle!
I was working on a carded Fireball X-L5 while on the two week cruise.
I kept up with the blog by writing two weeks in advance and keeping the entries in a draft form until needed.

I would've liked to dress 'er up and use the decals provided, but they dissolved and ran when set in water.
I assumed they were sprayed and sealed. The instructions made no mention of spraying or coating them.
Everything else in the kit was very well produced.

Most of ASP's Micro scale models are very nice quaility and generally fine flyers. the Micro Jayhawk is no exceptions, it's a great little flyer. I've found swapping out the mylar streamer for some 1/2" Teflon Plumber tape makes packing and prepping this tiny model a bit easier. just be sure to heavily talc baby powder the teflon tape before the first fold rolling
