Great flyer on a G64-4!

Well here's the repaired version of my "Color The Sun". After suffering a small zipper I decided to strip it down and redo it from it's original FAO Schwartz piggy bank motif. I turned to Mark at Stickershock for the decals. I decided to provide a bit of a contrasting yellow for the label as I thought it looked a bit more realistic that way.

Mines now finished, and you can bet it's not going to be the only one in my fleet! Hoping to get my L1 on this bird.

I did my daughters crayon the same way..TTW fins 1/2 inch from the bottom of the tube - primered first then masked on rocket and painted black .

Flies great on a G76-5 !

Here is my Crayon bank. Flew out of sight on a G80-7T. This was my introduction to composite motors. I also have a set of the Dollar Store plastic Crayon banks. (old pic)

I saw Johns' Crayola Rocket set featured in Ripley's Believe it or Not!! My kid pointed it out to me.

Those are/were my inspiration for my Crayon fleet. Finally got myself the one with a prism effect wrapper... still looking for the FAO Schwartz special

Nice on John!!

If this helps anyone, I made a wrap for the Estes Crayon to make it look more like an actual crayon. My daughter loves it and flys it at every club launch. I originally used powerpoint (but the attached is a pdf) and made it to print onto a 81/2 x 11. To do that, you'll have to apply it in three sections. The seams for the sections are the black bands so it ends up well hidden. I just printed it on construction paper and used 3M spray glue to apply.
