Also, the Sirius kit (BT-55 based) is larger than the Estes kit (BT-50).

I did a "halfway-in-between" version where I just cloned an Estes Atlantis and changed the nose cone and engine pods;

Mine too is a Sirius kit. At the time, it really taxed my abilities but the result was worth it.

I chose a hammered metallic finish for mine. You might just be able to pick out some of the paint under all those decals!

My build thread is in the archive: https://www.rocketryforumarchive.com/showthread.php?t=48255

I have not flown it since TRF 2 came about so I don't have a current TRF thread on it. I'll need to fix that soon.

I have to say I really enjoyed building this kit. It was one of my favorite rockets growing up and building it again rekindled alot of fond memories.

Welcome to the FANTASY SCALE (Star Trek) USS Atlantis Gallery on TRF.

This gallery showcases the FANTASY SCALE (Star Trek) USS Atlantis and those rockets derived from it. Particularly appropriate in this thread are the following:

Estes: U.S.S. Atlantis: #1283
Sirius: Refit U.S.S. Atlantis: S-0010

as well as any upscales, downscales, clones, kitbashes or other derivative works. Even Goonies qualify!

The Atlantis was never a part of the Star Trek Franchise but was created in the "Star Trek Style".
