I'm stunned that the blogger could equate landing for the first time on an alien body, walking around in a vacuum (literally seconds from death) with strolling around a playing field.

Frankly I'm amazed that the first mission wasn't:
1) step off the lander leg
2) grab a sample
3) get off the Moon as fast as possible

As infrequently as Neil makes any sort of public statement, most here would definitely want to know.
Like in those old E.F. Hutton ads, "When Neil Armstrong talks, people listen !"
