    OpenRocket on Droid?

As I understand it Droid is Java capable. Has anyone tried to port OpenRocket to it?

Give me a link to the source and I'll take a quick look at it. It'd be interesting to see what it'd take to get it running on my Droid Tablet dev system.

You can get the source code here:
    http://openrocket.sourceforge.net/download.html

IMHO, OpenRockets user interface would need to be completely rewritten to be usable on a smartphone, but lots of the backend should be quite usable. I'm not sure if AWT/Swing (or whatever) based desktop applications can be ported to Android even in theory.

Well sofar it works reasonably well. Openrocket will run on a Samgsung tablet with android but so far it won't create new projects, but it will run porjects that were transferred from a PC, Apple, laptop, etc (use bluetooth to transfer the data) and it will run that.

    Pretty cool app! Thanks!
Plays with wood, cardboard, and carpenters glue at home.

L1 will have to wait until 2013. Oh well.......patience is a lost virtue any-ways...
