    My favorite LPR

Just built a couple of Quest Full moon LPR. I have built three of these in the past. ,but had trouble with the fins tearing the body tubes. So I built them from scratch this time using just the nose cone. I used a BMS coupler tube for the airframe. With a C6-5 and a streamer these rockets fly straight and high.( so cool) Also they are the only design I have flown that do a 180 degree turn at about 500' up. Nice designClick image for larger version.

Those are nice! What kind of paint are you using to get that vibrant color?

I flew my old reliable Full Moon yesterday. Always a great flyer, and with a C6-5 it really gets some good altitude.

I have looked at Fascolor and considered trying some of it. It obviosly looks like you have had good luck with it.
