I know I've got aging horizons a treed horizon54 and a battered sprint that all need replacing...great kits. Affordable and properly built have provided me with many many good flights...

I'm about 50% completed on the New Website (sorry it's not veiwable, as it's hidden for now)

I'm also finishing up on "Diab-Glo II", lighter, larger motor selection to pick from, alot more Chute room and a replacable shock cord (plus a few extra goodies). It may not be a on the market till this fall ( testing fully first).

Scott will update you as we draw closer to opening.

I'm really happy that after this long drag out of being shut down draws to a end and that People still love those BSD kits.

is there any news on this? i did my lvl 1 on a bsd 38spl and am looking for another BSD kit to re-certify with. i still have the 38spl packed away. my favorite kit, and such a SWEET flier. im really hopeful, as BSD was my favorite company for HPR birds. they had awesome designs.

Having recently wasted money on MARVEL's "Thor" I look forward to spending money on a quality product.

Do you guys think they will ever start up again. I don't think they will its been way to long. There are a lot of kit builders in bussiness at this time. Do we need another?

crossfire, BSD had some of the most excellent rockets i've ever laid eyes on. sure, there are more fancy rockets with phenolic and other exotic materials, cutting edge designs if you will...but BSD had some really great SIMPLE designs. the 38spl that i built a flew was the perfect rocket for me. it could fly on a G80 to a very modest altitude, or it could rip on a big H or I motor. the rocket was most majestic in flight, the fins made a distinct, although faint, whistle on their ascent through the atmosphere. the rocket made a very clean, almost slow-mo arch over to apogee and all was right with the world.

i had built and flown my BSD 38spl, and gotten my lvl 1 with that bird. shortly after, BSD went off the grid. there were talks of coming back, but i kind of fell out of the hobby of HPR rocketry for a few years. now that im looking to return to the skies, im very much hoping to re-certify with a BSD kit. i still have the old 38spl, and i'd love to add more BSD rockets to my fleet. BSD will always have a special place in my heart, and i for one, would be thrilled to see them come back.

to whomever is in charge of bringing back BSD from the abyss...please, please bring these kits to market. i'd like to build a proper thor FINALLY.

I agree with you 100%. They built very nice kits. I am just saying the longer they stay out of the kit market the less chance they will ever come back. Has BSD ever been up for sale?

I'd agree too, but the THOR is still I highly sought after kit. I get about 2 to 3 requests about them a month.

    Thor

Thor is a great kit. I hope they make a rerun, but you are right. The longer it stays out of business, the more likely it will never come to fruition.

BSD kinda has a soft spot in my heart. I did my L1 with a BSD Sprint and my L2 with a BSD Apache (earlier this month). I have a 3" Thor that I am finally getting started on (glassed the tubes). I would love to see them get going again but totally understand the challenges of getting a business going. Best of luck no matter which way things go.

I saw Scott's name on the registered flyers list for Balls 2011 at Black Rock, NV. Hope to see him out there. That will be this weekend.
