The Champlain Region Model Rocket Club (CRMRC) will be holding our monthly launch, the Saturday before Father's Day, June 16, starting at 1000hrs and going until we run out of rocket motors (typically between 2pm - 3pm). The weather is looking perfect, with sunny skies, temps peaking just above 80, winds starting calm and getting to a balmy 5mph. To make things even better, the corn is still small so finding rockets should not be an issue.

It will be a great day for someone who wants to go big or go high. I already know of several people who are planning on doing this on Saturday. If you have your own rockets, bring them and motors to fly them. Or you can purchase a CRMRC saucer kit on the field, build it, and fly it at the launch.

As always, bring a chair, and be prepared for spending several hours outside in the sun.

What better way to honor dad (or treat yourself) by watching and flying rockets?
