I have what they call Stacked Double Vision.
I had to come up with $50 to try the prism film to put on my glasses to see if it corrects my vision.
I thought my glasses was not strong enough, but that isn't the case.
The Eye Doctor said I have probably had it all my life, and it is just getting worse with my age.
This would explain the difficulties I have had reading all my life.

The Temporary film prisms were not covered by my insurance.
They do correct my vision.
By law, I have 30 days to get corrective lenses or the Eye Doctor has to report me to the Secretary of State.
If I am not compliant, they will pull my driver's license.
Once I loose it, it's very hard to get it back. Almost impossible my Eye Doctor said.
So I have 15 days to come with $250 deposit to order the new lenses, which the insurance will not pay for.
When the lenses come in, I have to come up with another $250 for a total of $500...by the 2nd of July.
None of these cost's are covered by insurance, which is state provided btw.

As if we don't have enough trouble as it is with finances right now.
If I loose my driver's license, this will put even more burden upon my wife.
So I just need to sell my collection. My wife doesn't need any more burden put on her.
She has way too much to do now with taking care of my mother, who will be 92 June 7th, and our son and myself.

So please, if you can, buy some kits.
Thank You Kindly.

Before you order anything at your local optometrist, consider having them provide your prescription in its entirety, and order the frames and lenses from https://www.eyebuydirect.com/ Most frames cost less than $10 and lenses are priced fair. My first order was less than $105, second order was around $250. Second order was much more expensive as I opted for transition lenses. If you don't want to spend an arm and a leg at the optometrist, watch the Youtube video below on Luxottica...

My insurance will pay for the frames and my regular prescription lenses in lined bifocals.
The High Density lenses with the prisms, which can only be put on line-less bifocals and I have to have the transition lenses because of the sensitivity to light I have due to diabetes.
Believe me, I've called other places, and most don't do the prism lenses. I'm kinda stuck...again.
