I’m working an upscale of the Estes 1376 NASA Pegasus bashed out of a Mega Der Red Max and a Leviathan. I’m using MDRM construction techniques on custom lasercut fin cores.

I’d like to get a ballpark idea of flutter velocity. I’ve tracked down The Laminator mentioned in other threads, so I can work on simming my laminate.

But what to enter into finsim? The wing fins are TTW to the 4” main tube. With a notched tab at the forward tip to slip a half inch of coupler into to make another anchor point. But I plan on also filleting the wing fins to the 3” side tubes/pods.

So what’s a reasonable approximation to set up in finsim? The portion of the 17” span that extends past the pod, and the 3” tube as root glued - Not TTW? Something else?

Ideas welcome.
