This would be cool for making canopies, firings, etc. Knock yourself out kiddos.

My favorite Christmas gift, around 1962.
Nothing like giving a five year old a hot plate and letting him play by himself!

Yeah, and if I had burned my finger on the hotplate, the response from my folks would have been either "You knew it was hot, why'd you touch it?" or "You'll know better next time, won't you?". Also had the related Thingmaker with the hot metal molds.
 
Hot? I'll tell you what's hot. How about homemade lead toy soldiers! Yup, my folks bought me a setup unsolicited by me.
