Anyone know where a fella could pickup a nosecone for a 4” tube in the Fatboy or Big Bertha style? Would prefer plastic or balsa, I think fiberglass would be too heavy for this build.
Appreciate any info 😎
 
I don't know of any plastic or balsa 4" elliptical nose cones. I got a fiberglass one from Performance Hobbies for my upscale Mosquito. I believe it weighs a little over 10oz.

It's completely hollow. You have to figure out an anchor for it, unless it's being used on a zipperless or dual deploy.

If you wanted something that was balsa, I'd suggest you contact Sandman. He can turn custom cones in almost any style, from assorted woods.

That's where I got mine, but I don't remember the shoulder being that long.
