I'm not getting any response to this question over in Ground Support so I decided to post here too...

Sounds like Andrew is pretty busy these days so I’m going to ask here if anyone else have received an Additive 38mm (or other size) flyaway rail guide the does not appear to quite close completely. Couple of things indicate this 1) there is just a tad more “opening” force then I would expect 2) the 4 rail guides don’t quite line up. It appears that ridges in the print may have just enough thickness to account for the issue.

Anyone tried sanding the surfaces where they come together just enough to allow it to close all the way?

For the 38mm guides, there are two different sizes. One for thin-wall airframe, and one for regular sized airframe. My guide for thin-wall tubes will not line up the buttons when put on regular sized tube.
