I'm in the Tennessee Area, and I'm planning to cert at Airfest this year.

I’d seen the locator, it just felt weird to call a stranger off a list like that. Figured aomeone on here might just up and volunteer. I like Chris, can he oversee NAR L3 certs? I thought he was just Tripoli.

Yes, Chris is L3CC. His name is on the list on my edited post. Chances of an L3CC just jumping up and volunteering here is probably slim to none on this forum.
Does any of your local clubs have an L3CC? That's how I found mine.

I’ll get in touch with Chris, then. I’ll probably ask Chris Dondanville as well. Thanks. :)

Cold contacting is how it works.
If the L3CC (or TAP) didn't want this they wouldn't be on the list.

Both Chris's -Short (the tall one) and Dondanville (the short one)- are here nearby(ish) and should be great to work with as L3CC's.
Assuming they stick with it and I don't get reassigned somewhere in the next few years, I'll be going through them too. Heck, Chris Short drives his trailer to launches so it's real easy for him to inspect your build! Lol

Just tell Chris S: "If you supervise my build I'll buy my motor from you....."
