I just wanted to let everyone know that this years Turkey & Grits (Georgia Rockets in the Sky) 2018 rocket launch will be include a scale / sport scale contest.

Coyote Rocketry Scale Challenge 2018
The object of these contests is to build and fly a model of either the German C-2 Wasserfall, or the U.S. IRBM Redstone (not the Juno or Mercury variants). Photos and drawings of the rockets will be found at the bottom of this page. Data files are provided in the link below
Rules:
Mid to Hi Giant Sport Scale
Two divisions
A Division 18 yrs & younger.
B Division 19 yrs & older.
A minimum of four entries must be present in each division. If less than four entries then the divisions will be combined.
The mid to hi power rockets can be no smaller than 48″ in length and fly on E thru "whatever" composite motors. Please check with the launch director to see if you can launch your "whatever" motor!
Location: Turkey & GRITS launch near Tifton, GA
Date: Saturday, November 24
Over $1000 in prizes will be up for grabs at the launch, so show the world what you can do!
