Not an official Guinness World Record as far as I know, but that's a minor point. I think the Guinness speed records require a level flight timed run along a measured path. At least that's the way it is for manned aircraft. This would mean a sailplane couldn't adequately compete based upon the way the speed is obtained in the videos of dynamic soaring records I've seen.

Takeoff around 2:05. It's not as awesome as you'd think, maybe because of the position of the camera.
