Flight was nominal - the chute (unusually) stayed on top of the corn which made locating it MUCH easier...

There is a little surprise in the video - some aspects of the flight were less than nominal... ;^p

First of all, congrats on the L1.

Second, nice video. Great frames where you see the flame from the motor after the camera fell off. How did you get the camera back?

The velcro strap (that failed) actually turned into helicopter blades on descent.. when I first saw it falling, it was moving so slowly I thought it was dogbarf wadding drifting down...
 
Congrats! I use gaffers tape to hold my cameras. Works great & leaves no residue.
