good luck with the E9 hope it doesn't go boom and mess up a nice build.
I'm on my second one, currently. Too much thrust will break the fins at the body tube unless you reinforce the full length.

I have two of them. Flown both with D12, E9 and E12. My first one survived an E9 CATO. I like how it builds. For some reason it is one of my favs. FYI I suggest a stronger/thicker chute cord than what is supplied.

Good rocket, needs a long rod though with how high up the top lug sits.

Pop lugs, not drugs
A chute release fits in the payload area quite nicely. The weight offsets larger motors and reinforced fin roots, while the release helps ensure it comes back in the same county.
I've flown mine on E9-4's several times. Amen to 'this is one of my favs". I find this rocket is engineered well and flies great. It's always with me when I go to launch my rockets. It's easy to add a logo to the fairing if you'd like. I just printed a F9 logo on sticky paper and applied it. I think it looks great.

Done in SES10 colors (first flight with reuse of a booster)
I built the second one without gluing the two sections of airframe together. That means it is quite a bit shorter for transporting overseas in the suitcase. I just tape the two sections together with clear stickytape for the flight.
