Hi,

Picked up three altimeters when Otis had a sale last year. Got an unopened Alt15k, an RRC2X 40k serial 2113 and copyright 2001.
Also this little gem below:

The first two I'm familiar with but this Alt5A is foreign to me.

I went to Mark's site, https://www.rocketryfiles.com/ and nothing found as far as documentation.

Started searching RockeTronics and Alt5A can really can't find anything other than a German site that makes the Altimax altimeters:

https://translate.google.com/transl...://www.rocketronics.de/altimeter/&prev=search

Date on the board says 10/15/02 and I believe it's just a peak detecting altimeter. Anyone have a line on any info or basic instructions?
Oh, I plug in a battery and it beeps and seems to work.

Best regards, Kurt Savegnago

Cross reference the numbers on the chips to find out what they are. (What they do) This might give you a better picture.

Kurt, three are a nice pickup. The first two are easy for documentation.

That third is something I think I remember hearing of. I too found the German website, but the age of this seems to preclude them from listing it. I suggest you see if they have a contact on their website and see if they can provide any info.

If you get any documentation let me know and I will add it to rocketry files.

Thanks Mark, Looks like Tony has the instructions for the "big brother" to the device I have. I suspect the maker shut down and that German company appropriated the unused name. Kurt "keep'in my eyes open" Savegnago
