Personal Launch Report - Holtville Havoc 2 - Tripoli San Diego, March 2018

Traveled to Holtville Havoc 2 organized by San Diego Tripoli. Great launch with fun crowd... Friday couldn't have been better but later in the weekend the wind from a storm that battered the North State came south.

I had planned to launch 3 rockets a day but due the light crowd and that rockets where landing very close by I was able to launch my whole program of 6 rockets in one day. I then packed up Saturday and bugged out before the winds hit.





Second flight for my Nike Apache Two stage worked great no issues. Still tuning up recovery, 18 inch thin Mil too small... will use 25 inch next time.

Neat to see all the folks from the forum.

I actually got my L3 there back in Jack G’s day at old Plaster City site.

This a great site and great club, worth the drive.
