Bought a nice partially assembled rocket from a yard sale as you do... trouble is nobody can identify it. I think it is a US manufacturer. Anybody got an idea?

24 “ payload
9” ebay
3” diameter g12 wound fibreglass
48” main
12” fin root
4” fin
3.75” nosecone shoulder
15” payload top to tip
54mm motor mount

Any tips gratefully received. It has what appears to be a bright white nylon shock cord but it’s not like any cord I’ve seen before so would like to establish who made it.

I t looks like a Performance Rocketry Competitor 3, a late version if the tubes are wound not cloth.

Thanks! That looks like it. Can always rely on the outstanding citizens of TRF to identify the unusual! Cheers.

looks a lot like a competitor 3 is sold by Wildman. shock cord should be Kevlar, you'll probably want an 18" drogue for it.
