had version 1- good product- even have the new gps added- it does fit! Version two is a major improvement at a great price- you really want it! The plastic handles higher temperatures- good thing as we are in the desert! The case is substantially thicker too.... and SO ROOMY- big batteries fit in the handle, nuts instead of screws... Brilliant having two nuts captured to retain the handle. I put a drop of gorilla glue on each nut to seal them into the capture slots so alignment will also be dead on each time i replace a battery. The electronics are now all firmly held down and easily assembled. I did not use the belt clip as i prefer a lanyard do i can ride a quad and not lose it. Much easier to flip it up and follow the new gps’s directional arrow- way to go Criss!!! I drill a 1/8 in hole side to side at the (now one piece- another improvement!) bottom of the base. It should be noted that a power switch and a push button switch are also included in the price! Version 2 is really worth the money.

Thank you for your review! I am happy to see my hard work didn't go to waste.

Also, do not forget every purchase comes with my send you replacement parts if they break, policy.

Just to confirm the battery question. I picked up a Gens Ace 2200 mAh 2s battery that showed the limit for width and thickness at 34mmX20mm. It’s length is 87mm and could easily fit a 95-100mm length. Fourth pic here has a shipping peanut under the battery so it will not move up or down once assembled.
