    Are you using a smartphone to put the photos onto TRF. If so I have heard that that can be the cause of the rotation. I always try and download the pics to my computer then crop and upload from there, and dont seem to have a issue with rotation.

    Did you try rotating it in Windows Photo Viewer? That's what works for me.

    I find I need to open the picture (like in paint) and rotate it (even if it appears the right direction) and then rotate it back and save it.
    I've heard there is data embedded in the photo file that indicates the orientation the picture when it was taken. By rotating it and rotating back and saving it saves the new orientation data.
