Having a cup of tea before the drive to the last launch of the winter.. one of the first snow launches I'm going to with the club. (I've done snow launches before, but a long long time ago!)

The first part of this year, "winter" was warm (above freezing) & dry, no snow on the field. Today, there's about 15cm (6") and it's currently -7°C (19°F) with 8-15KPH (5-8mph) winds. And a chance of snow. It might just be a "let's go grab a beer instead" launch!

Doing this launch means I've been to the 1st & last launch of the year, and most in-between. I think I've missed 2, and 4 have been scrubbed due to weather.

Brrrrrrr!

I've been trying to find time to make a trip up to fly with you all at CRMRC for a while now but it's quite a long drive for me. Hopefully I can make it next season.

Winter launches can be fun if you aren't freezing. Igniters get hard to hold onto below 30*F.

All the best and have a great time.

Always fun to have everyone out freezing their butts off together:)
