I know I've seen this somewhere recently. I am looking for alternate paint schemes for the Nike Smoke, particularly the olive drab/copper scheme. Actually, any paint job other than the white with florescent fins. If someone out there could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

There is also this site containing information on the motor used in the Nike Smoke: https://meatballrocketry.com/nike-motor-data/

A PDF by Atlantic Research Corporation (the manufacturer of the fins) can be found here: https://meatballrocketry.com/wp-content/gallery/scale_data/nike_data/nikefins.pdf
Includes some details on the bolt locations, etc. and the composition of the fins, which can be used to make guesses where data can not be found (such as in the case of the following paragraph).

I suspect the yellow to be a chromate coating on the aluminum paneled fins. Info on the chromate, which can be used for finishing, can be found here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromate_conversion_coating along with a plethora of other sites.

Certainly not scale - but here is how I did mine. The original paint just didnt do it for me.
