I am looking for a rocket display stand. When I am at my launches I usally have my rockets on the ground or leaning up against my truck. I want something that can be right in front of me that is holding all my rockets for 2 purposes, to display my rockets to other people and second they are in a same place not going to get kicked or stepped on. Does anyone know of a website they can show or does anyone have some plans on how to build a strong, but light display stand?

We just use cheap metal fence posts driven into the ground. They come in several sizes. Will hold a rocket from 38mm mount to 98mm. Look in background.

You can make anything out of Schedule 40 PVC. Comes in a variety of diameters and shapes to make it unique to your specs and application... (edit - The bed was made by Mark Rehorst for his son Alex, plans are available on his DIY project website at https://mark.rehorst.com/index.html.)

Impressive work there, SMR.

Gotta wonder tho, how you kept both feet on the ground working with the fumes for the primer/cement. :D

What size is the pipe in that bunk bed / storage area? And did you cement the joints? Any idea how much weight it could hold?

I bet at least one of my sons would be majorly interested in something like that!

And now I'm thinking about a chair and a desk, too!

Well, the rocket rack is mine (I built most of it outside, so the fumes weren't too bad). The bed was included as an example of how great PVC is to make stuff out of, like Tinker Toys for adults. (Not to hijack the thread). The bed was made by Mark Rehorst for his son Alex, plans are available on his DIY project website at https://mark.rehorst.com/index.html. Other great PVC projects depicted here https://www.pvcplans.com/pvc-pipe.htm, including a rocket launch pad. Limited only by your imagination. Ventilated area recommended.

P.S. I really like the stands in Rocketman248's post (#2). I'll be making one of those.
