Still can't upload images here... was trying to do a .png, using Chrome... Currently logged in using my VPN as if I was in S. Korea.

How come the "insert image" doesn't work in Chrome? Or Edge for that matter?

The image insert is working. For links to images on other areas of the internet, you will need an address to put there.

The paperclip in the go advanced section does the upload to the album and can be inserted in the post being made.

Still, with me, thru the 'traditional' method, I can only upload one photo at a time..
    go advanced
    click "manage attachments'
    click 'add files',
    then 'choose a file'
you then get a window to browse for file.

In this window, you used to be able to pick one or more 'files (pictures) to upload, and it would upload them all (i think it limited to 8 at a time)

now, it's only one photo / file at a time, and you need to go thru the whole procedure listed above to add more than one photo / file...

The insert image only works for links to others, it is not uploading from computer. And it just worked for me using an image link from a google image, right click and get the address and put in the bar for the address and it did post. Windows 10 / Chrome (both current updates)

The paperclip brings up the same image box as Manage Attachments at the bottom of a post does.

If it doesnt work anymore, why don't they get rid of that button or fix it like it use to be?

I just clicked on the "Insert Image" button, selected 3 files from my PC, and selected upload.
    Let's see if it works

Working from IE and not Chrome is strange, usually Chrome is more forum friendly than IE.

By the way, I have opened a tech ticket on the issues listed here.

Also, within the month we are expecting to go to Xenforo software to run the site. Everyone that I've talked with has really enjoyed the way Xenforo treats images uploads and cut and paste into posting. Also, that will make the whole site SSL.

    That sounds great!

For others with the trouble on some browsers, for me it had to do with settings on how the browser invoked ... Gosh I forget? ... ActiveX or maybe Java? Tweaking a setting fixed it, at the time.

Today I tried to up load Jpg pic that had been used several times in other threads successfully through the "manage attachments" button.

File is only 76Kb, & got the dreaded "RED Dot" warning of death..

My dumb ass wasn't thinking.....took a screenshot of the example and tried to upload it here.
Obviously that wasn't going to work either....LOL

Good luck Angie & thank you for all the effort you put in, trying to keep this ole boat a float!!

At this time the image upload is still 0KB when using the Android phone app. If you can use a browser and log in, it works okay (but is tiny). Ipad works fine and laptop works fine.

I have sent another ticket reminder to the app people about the android version.
