To bottom line it. I need you to keep your ears open. A couple weeks ago we lost our Digger to a massive infection. She was 14. She was a Black lab/pit mix(mostly Lab). We have had the talk and want another little buddy. Sammy the Wolf gets along with pups. She;s getting old too at 16 , so a Black lab or mix in the 6-12 week range is what we are looking for. Female preferred. I'm in the Plano/Frisco area. We are keeping an eye on the shelters. If you hear of something --please pm me---thanks, H

Will keep a look out. Sorry for your loss. I couldn't imagine my life without my little Baxter.

tonnes of rescues out there! get your name on each one (and support them!) you next love will soon come along. Good luck in the search!

These folks will deliver the dog (not super cheap...):

There are black lab mixes:

My dog is half black lab and half black German shepherd. His photos are still on their website (we've had him for 9 years and he is still in fantastic shape):

Sorry about Digger. Deborah and I will probably go to pieces when our yellow Lab Lucy meets here maker. She's 8 now.

Sorry for your loss, HD. Mrs says that someone left a box of 9 puppies at the end of the drive the otherday. I will be back at the homestead tonight and will send you a pic tomorrow. I'm a few hours from you, but willing to make the drive up if you think you might want one (or 2).

Thanks looking forward to the pics--H

I caught them at nap time... We have no way of knowing exactly what breed. They are eating regular food (softened with warm water) & still have blue eyes. Mrs estimates that they are about 8-9 weeks old. There are a couple of white toes.

Is there a story behind Digger’s name?

Ya know, I don't think so. Seems like we got her and both of us said "Digger" at the same time. So it stuck! She lived up to the name. Between her and Sammy--EVERY- stump was dug up in our yard within a year!

Just a heads up. T-Rex came through for us . He and his family drove about 3 hours to meet Deb and I with a bunch of pups for us to look at. We took two for us and two for another friend!-20171121_223358 (1).jpg Meet "B" and "Mags"

Glad I could help with your situation. I am down to 1 lonely girl. (I have a feeling she will be assimilated into the herd....)
