The weather for the launch is looking SPECTACULAR for this time of year: sunny skies, temps in the 60s most of the day and light winds!!

This is going to be a good one!

We are doing some last-minute packing then will begin the trek north to the GRITS launch. In some sort of lame cosmic joke, it is raining here right now.

But, the weather forecast for GRITS looks great. Check out the end of the video to see just how spectacular the GRITS launch site is when the weather is nice. Looking around from a vantage point in the sky, most all you can see is farmland to the horizon and it is rare to see an aircraft flying over. The sky is huge and ready for rockets to explore!

We are almost to Tifton and the sky is clear and bright blue. It is nice and cool with only a slight breeze.

Fantastic pics, Roger! Thanks to you and Bracha for the good snaps of my giant DX3 flight!

Roger,
I'm assuming you don't mind if I've used this photo as the background on the GRITS site!
