    Rocket Tiltometer 2 - $200 OBO

Moving overseas in a few months and am trying to thin out some unnecessary rocketry items. Rocket Tiltometer 2 in perfect condition. Flown once and worked perfectly. Won't get to the big project I planned to use it in, so it needs to go before I pack the house. $200 OBO. Thanks.

Good device and the only one with tilt control outside of Altus Metrum products (for now). I believe Multitronix is very close to releasing something along those lines. For the record, the only reason the Tiltometer went out of production is a specific
part could no longer be obtained. Kurt

    Rocket Tiltometer 2 - $200 OBO

Congrats Sather on the purchase. Your starting to get quite a collection there.

I have (2) two stagers coming right along in the construction phase. I really want to utilize tiltometer for the extra peace of mind.

Looking for some knowledge from TRF group,

When I read the features on numerous rocketry electronics that make me think there is a tiltometer on them but when I check further- they seem to not be the real thing.

Are there any current electronics commercially available that have tiltometer in them? The items listed in above post- anyone have experience wth them?

I appreciate any help you might have to offer.

Tele and Easy Mega: https://altusmetrum.org/TeleMega/ http://altusmetrum.org/EasyMega/

That's it for now for true tilt detection. Word is Multitronix is close to releasing something like that: https://www.multitronix.com/

There are others that do time and altitude thing but not tilt detection. Even with Tilt detection I hear there can be issues if one really goofs on weight an balance and the rocket starts doing loops.

Scariest flights I've seen is with aft CG. Big or small will scare the poop out of anyone: Should have done a sawhorse test with that one. Kurt

I was told the AIM XTRA is able to tilt detect as well.

I believe that it measures tilt and rotation but cannot make decisions based on the data.
