This is my first MD flight from over a year ago. It was 20 inches tall, 24mm diameter, and flew on a Eliis G37-10. Lost the nose cone with altimeter. :(
SKIP TO 3:52 FOR LAUNCH I'm not sure if it went mach, and I know it's tough to tell by video, but I just want some guesses & thoughts.

Thanks,

A quickie on Thrustcurve shows 1,137 feet per second, which is right at Mach 1. So tough to tell for sure without altimeter data. Based on the spin on the way up though, I don't think that speed was realized.

So more than likely you did not bust Mach.

Just did the sim again, and it came to about 795 MPH, but that does include the canted fins.
But, hey, that old Ellis G37 was still sweet to fly, even though I lost the rocket.
Thanks,

What are you using to sim it?
