Like I said in post #3 Mike at MC told me 3" and down have went to composite tips. No plans for the larger sizes.

How many people would want a metal tip 2.6" cone? I talked to Mike yesterday and he said he can have some made up.

I ordered one from AMW's site as it offered an option. I specified in my order that I didn't want a composite tip. If they really don't have them in stock, I would wait for the new run of them to be made.

If I had a lathe, I'd be turning a bunch of tips.

I just got off the phone with AMW, they have 10 metal tip 2.6 nose cones in stock.

Well, now they have 9
