Omg - this is going to be nuts! Can't wait to see the rest, yeehaw! , planned flight location??

This is all kinds of cool. Any guess on what the final weight will be? Where are you going to fly it? :)

Wow! Wow! Just wow!

So cool, Bill! Love it!

Thanks Eric. How did the Mother Lode flight go at airfest? Should have been awesome!? Saw some lift off pics but didn't hear other wise.

Looks like you guys had a great time, may need to make that trek next year

Should be 80-90 pounds empty. Will be flying with MDRA. Thinking of an M2400 warm up flight before working with Charlie on the O

Out of curiosity, how do you know about this? What do you know about this?

On another note -- who custom wound the tailcone?

Aerotech posted a video about it on their FB page. Video can also be found here:

Aerotech's DMS O has been in development for some time with a good number of test firings being completed. It is going to be Aprox. 22,000 NS of Propellant X formulation. Rumor has it that it will be heading to TMT in the near future.

Aerotech has plans to fire/ fly at least one at XPRS, and at BALLS.

Lots of progress, hope to put up some pics this weekend. Everything has been painted and am ready for some final touches such as rail guides, electronics integration, and motor retainer.

A local university might have electronics experiments on a cargo chute to lob under a high altitude project grant in the engineering departments. You might get a tax write off on the launch if you want or mentioned in local paper. Only mentioning it since the rocket is large enough to do serious research work with the excess payload volume. Not everything needs to go to space to get testing. You have enough payload space for a flying lab project literally.

Of course I respect those that do this for hobby, but there are practical applications. Anyways cool sounding rocket. Now you just need a experimental payload to make it more legit.

Phenomenal, Bill. Can't wait to see it. Feel free to snag me for your away cell crew.
