Your right Jim, I'm going to epoxy it into the tip and be done with it. And there will be 0 chance of the package letting go.

Epoxy does not adhere very well to many nosecone materials ...

Wallace is correct. If you go that route, you'll need to at the Very Least, gouge up the inside of the tip so the epoxy has ridges to grab on to mechanically. I did that when I reworked my L1 rocket's nose situation, and it's been set solid.

For more insurance, drill a hole through the tip and fit a wooden or brass dowel through it. Then poor the epoxy/shot around it, and, when its cured, cut/file/sand down the nubs of the dowel.
